The country's energy systems have come under increased strikes in the past few days

Russian forces has increased strikes on energy facilities over recent weeks, while the country's government has requested "substantial measures" from international partners to increase pressure on Moscow.

"The necessity is not superficial actions but strong steps - from the US, Europe and the Group of Seven - in providing protection systems and applying penalties," mentioned in a online statement.

Authorities reported that 450 drones and over thirty projectiles attacked energy facilities, labeling such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.

The energy minister said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were laboring to restore power.
